Marc represents start-up private and public companies in many cases from formation through successful initial public offering or acquisition. Many of his clients are leading edge developers of new technologies in the areas of software systems and applications, communications, Internet and new media, semiconductors, biotechnology and medical devices. He also represents several rapidly growing service-based businesses. Marc counsels companies on their growth and development, advises their management and boards of directors and assists them with a wide range of domestic and international transactions.

In addition to his company clients, Marc represents a number of prominent venture capital funds and institutional investors in their formation and financing activities.

Marc received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an A.B., summa cum laude, from Bowdoin College. Prior to attending law school, he was a Business Fellow at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
